Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, subscribing, or using Kids AI Smart Learning (the "Service", "Bubo", "we", "us"), you (the "User", "Parent", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
The Service is designed for children aged 5–10 years, to be used with parental supervision and consent. You must be the parent or legal guardian (18+) of any child using the Service. By signing up, you represent that you have legal authority to consent to your child's use of the Service.
3. The Service
Bubo is an AI-powered tutoring platform that provides voice-based educational lessons in English and Hindi. We offer ten subjects covering class 1–5 curricula, textbook-scanning features, progress tracking, PDF report cards, and parent WhatsApp updates. Lessons are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies; parents should review content and treat Bubo as supplementary to — not a replacement for — formal schooling.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
- Free trial: New accounts receive 7 days of full access at no cost and without requiring a payment method.
- Paid plans: Three tiers — Starter ₹99/month, Standard ₹299/month, Premium ₹499/month. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes.
- Billing: Payments are processed through Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges until you cancel.
- Cancellation: You can cancel any time from the /account page. Access continues through the end of your current billing period; no partial refunds are given.
- Price changes: We may adjust prices with 30 days' notice; you can cancel before any increase takes effect.
5. Refunds
If you cancel during the 7-day trial, no charge occurs. For paid subscriptions, we do not provide refunds on partial months. If you experience a technical issue that prevents service use, email marinersapp@gmail.com within 7 days and we will review case-by-case.
6. User Content and Data
Voice recordings, lesson history, progress data, uploaded textbook images, and child profiles are yours. You grant us a limited license to process this data solely to deliver the Service (e.g., running lessons, generating reports, sending notifications). We do not sell this data. 7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload illegal, obscene, or harmful content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
- Use the Service to harass, harm, or mislead others
- Create accounts for children without parental consent
- Resell or rebrand the Service without our written permission
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Bubo's lessons, feedback, and conversations are generated by large language models (currently Google Gemini) and speech models (Sarvam AI). While we tune the models for age-appropriate content, AI can occasionally produce incorrect or unexpected output. Parents should monitor usage and report concerning content to marinersapp@gmail.com.
9. Intellectual Property
All Service software, design, the Bubo character, and original content are owned by Kids AI Smart Learning. You retain ownership of content you upload (e.g., textbook scans). The Service is licensed to you personally and non-transferably.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time from /account. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where feasible. On termination, we retain limited data per our data retention schedule (see Privacy Policy).
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email and in-app banner at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Delhi, India. Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at marinersapp@gmail.com to attempt a good-faith resolution.
